Treasurer of United States, Honorable Rosie Rios visited SCID.
December 2010

Sue and Martin Koffel recently hosted a dinner for five of the six students whose research they supported during the summer.
Three IPS Masters students and three undergraduates worked with IFMR in Chennai to investigate options for loan products that would fund higher education for poor students in Thanjavur, in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Thanks from all at SCID to the Koffels for their generosity; the students enjoyed a stimulating introduction to field research and a life-enriching experience.
